Party FAQ

 

YES! We have found that for most parties 2 hours of time is plenty of time to have the full experience! However, if desired an additional hour of party time is available!

 

We don’t but you are more than welcome to order and bring in any cake that you would like!

 

Can we bring extra food?

YES! We have several recommendations for pizza places that deliver (Vitales of Ada is our favorite), Qdoba is a great option, and we also have a private catering company that we work with for some of our larger parties!

 

We can not serve it but you are welcome to provide it for your parties!

 

Can all of the parents stay and watch?

So… my answer to this is Yes! However, we once had a party that was booked for 5 kids and they showed up with the entire family of 30 plus adults… and it was completely unexpected! We expect that many of the parents of the guests will come; however, if this is a family party and the number of adults is vastly different than the number of children please just touch base with me to make special arrangements.

 

In the summer please just make sure they have closed toe shoes- no flip flops or sandals. Shorts are just fine! In the winter, please be dressed for the weather- however, you will be indoors most of the time! The party room is heated and coffee and hot chocolate are always available in the winter months!

 

Totally up to you…. But who doesn’t love a tip!? They are definitely not required but always appreciated and many of the kids working at the parties are our hard working riders who are trying to work around the farm to help their parents cover the cost of their riding! Tips can be given to your party planner who can distribute to all the helpers involved in your party!

 

YES! This is your party and we want to make it exactly how you would like it! You have access to the party barn 45 minutes before your party starts and you are welcome to bring any and all decor that you would like! Please just touch base with me if you need more time or if you have any special requests. On rare occasions we have multiple parties booked on the same day and will need a heads up to make sure that it is cleaned and ready to go! 

 

Sure! We have some that you are welcome to borrow; however, I used to be a school teacher and I hate nothing as much as I hate lice. We spray our helmets out but it still gives me the heeby-jeebies to use someone else' helmet so if it was much own child I would send them with their own.  Bike or ski helmets work great! We suggest heading to the Classic Equestrian in Ada to purchase a beginner type helmet if your child begins riding regularly. 

 

We have done parties for ALL ages… we even had a special 90th birthday party here this past year! Our space is perfect for all ages and levels of “covid comfort.”

 

NO!  While our farm is cleaned consistently and our party room is sanitized between uses, the majority of our parties are all held outdoors where we haven’t seen much evidence that masks are helpful or useful. Our party barn is very covid friendly with large barn doors that open up as well as overhead fans circulating the outside air!

 

YES! We have a heated bathroom in the barn and a full kitchen and and 2 handicap accessible bathrooms in the party room!

 

YES! We love having special events that include all levels of mobility! Wheelchairs can easily navigate through the farm- into the party room and the indoor arena as well!

 

We haven’t yet because I realize a brides day is the best day of her life and would want it to be perfect! This is a working farm so we have horses moving about most days! However, if you are interested in the possibility of hosting a wedding at our farm please contact us to go over possibilities.
