Our Instructors Jill Herweyer Jill has a masters degree in education and spent years teaching second grade. She takes these talents and applies her love of children to her love of this amazing sport. She began teaching beginner riding lessons when she was just 12 years old and has been doing it ever since. After purchasing the farm in 2017, it went from a part time endeavor to her full time job! She has developed programs that allow riding to be accessible and enjoyable for all ages! Her passion is for children and she loves exploring ways to make this farm a blessing to all who enter it’s doors. Lauren Herweyer Lauren has been riding since before she could even walk. From the 4h fair to AA shows, she has experienced all facets of the riding world. Lauren has shown in the big eq, hunters, and jumpers gaining knowledge in all areas of this incredible sport. She has had the opportunity to study and learn from some of the greats in the business (Polly Howard, Meg Howard- Fuleky, Brandt Clark, Robert Mendoza) and continues to take every opportunity she can to grow in her knowledge and expertise. She is currently working with several young horses and has high hopes of developing them from weanlings to top show contenders- all the while learning and growing as she dives into new and exciting avenues of the horse world. Her passion is to teach young riders not only about the technique and skills of riding, but also about how to properly care for and bond with these amazing animals. She is PATH certified and has a real passion for teaching the entire student. She has experience working as an equine therapist, extensive training and showing in the top rings across the nation, and jumping in the big eq divison. She has brought up and trained young horses and is skilled in both training and riding alike. She has dedicated her life to this sport and it is reflected in her kind spirit and her gentle style of teaching. Alaina Cuddie
